I don't know if date info is in the link, but from the bridge/tailpiece hardware and the turners, I think it might be a very early Korean (like you said, the change-over occurring around 1987). thing I can figure is that the very early Korea-made versions of this guitar have a different numbering system than later, less ambiguously serialized guitars. I think it might be from around 1987 (just after Aria switched production to Korea) but I can't be sure as I really don't know how to date these guitars, and the web is full of conflicting info. Okay, generally speaking, I hate serial number systems that aren't straight-forward. In any case, I gathered some info on various Aria Pro II (Korea) guitars, their serial numbers and their (claimed) year of production.
