I kissed dating goodbye review
I’m also aware of the fact that a twenty-three-year-old is going to say some laughably naïve things about relationships, and I think that Joshua might be aware of that, too.
I reached out to him and asked if he’d like to be a part of this review series, but since he’s in seminary now he said he couldn’t. Bestselling author Joshua Harris presents a "new" way of looking at Christian love lives. As a Christian, Harris draws obvious lines between the right and the wrong.Over 70% of the thousands of ratings this book has gotten are 4 or 5 stars, and it’s still relevant, still influential. However, the rest of the foreward is dedicated to how he didn’t kiss his wife until they were at the altar together, and that’s a pretty significant .“Showing God’s love in my relationships” doesn’t necessarily equal “I don’t kiss my girlfriend,” but that’s an idea that’s going to get lost a lot in the next 200 pages. With a title like I Survived “I Kissed Dating Goodbye” it’s no surprise that the documentary presents a rather negative overall assessment of the book.Early on Harris’s wife Shannon puts it this way: I think it was a good book, and a well-intentioned book…well, I don’t know that I can say it was a good book. So why watch a documentary about a seemingly-not-so-good 20-year-old book?
