Why do dating sites work
My goal is to find a woman that I am attracted to, take her out on dates, get into a relationship, and eventually get married. You can still keep online dating as an option, however... I think you are better off spending more time meeting new people and women in real-life (offline) if at all possible.
Online dating may work for some but for a lot of guys, it isn't worth investing much time.
nice to meet you' and then stopped responding, and the other said that we will get to know each other online first before meeting and then stopped responding. Thanks To the women of this forum that are using online dating sites - Can you please explain what might be happening in my case?
What would make you to completely ignore a guy that read your profile and send you a thoughtful message?
Don't make it all about yourself and ASK INTERESTING QUESTIONS.
I won't reply to emails that are run-of-the-mill messages.
Online dating scammers tend to target people who have a large amount of information in their profiles, and the scam is usually based around stealing money, credit card information, or personal information from the victim.
I'll give you the link to a past thread of mine in which I answer that question.
Basically, on online sites, women get hundreds of messages and even when a guy sends me a thoughtful, lengthy reply, unless he really catches my attention and is my type, I can't afford to send out a "no thanks" to everyone that messages me.
If the girl is particularly interested I'd be lucky to get perhaps several messages from her before they stop.
Oh yeah I'd get things like, 'oh you're so sweet', 'I really like you' etc., then the next minute bam stops messaging.

I typically use Lila's advice, and even then I probably only get a response maybe a quarter of the time. Then the online dating system is essentially flawed.
